Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween @ Larrikin

Being a Halloween Edition of our Friday night Magic costumes are encouraged! Not required but there will be extra goodies to those who get in the spooky spirit. 

Please note: This event may have the use of lighting and special effects such as smoke machines. If this may cause a health risk please contact us to let us know prior to the event. 

Magic Presents: A Villainous Halloween is a special Commander event this October 31st, offering a unique twist on the popular Magic format. Players bring their own Commander decks (or Borrow one from the team) and, at the start of the game, secretly choose a villain card, each representing a classic villain from Magic’s history with its own alternate win condition.

As the game unfolds, players can work toward their secret objective. Once a player meets the condition on their chosen villain card, they reveal it—and from that point on, each opponent loses the game at the end of their own turn, unless they can stop the villain in time.

As a reward for participating, players can take home a pack of event materials (while supplies last), making it a memorable and replayable experience beyond the event.

When:
Friday the 31st of October 2025.
The Store Closes at 5:30 to prepare the space
Doors reopen at 6pm and run till 9pm (depending on game length.)

Just BYO your Commander deck or decks (or loan one of ours) to play 

Soft drinks are available instore for $2

Each Ticket is to secure your place and help us track the player numbers in-store

The store is primarily an adult crowd so please be aware there may be more mature language used by patrons at times. we don't recommend those under 16 attend if unaccompanied. (if the adult is attending to play with the child they don't need to purchase an extra ticket. They need to buy one if they wish to play themselves though.)
